| The Norwegian -
South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
established in 1996, is a bilateral chamber
and aims to develop broad commercial, industrial,
cultural and international connections between
Norway and southern Africa, with emphasis
on South Africa. The Chambers activities
have been continuous since start up and
we have established beneficial relations
and valuable network in both markets.
In a mutual cooperation
with National African Federated Chamber
of Commerce and Industry/ NAFCOC, South
Africa, we will now, carry through a 12
months, senior exchange project, funded
by Fredskorpset. The aim of the project
is to contribute to increase the cooperation
between Norway and South Africa and to
increase business opportunities for the
Chambers members in addition to strengthen
NAFCOC`s organizational. The exchange
program is in accordance with Fredskorpsets
regulations and conditions.
Project start-up will be
approx. July 1, 2005. Our adviser in the
project in South Africa will be Mr. Odd
